What to Expect:

Your group will meet the boat on the Staging Pier next to the launch ramps at the far North end of North Point Marina. After introductions of the captain and mate, we will review the many safety features on board the AFTER U II. Also notice the large cockpit, comfortable bridge seating, ultra suede sofa and leather dinette. The Captain or Mate will explain the fishing strategy for the day. If you have questions just ask the Captain or Mate. We are there to help. Things like which type of fish and where we'll be looking for the big ones will be explained. As we leave the harbor, the Mate will be busy getting your tackle and lures ready.

You will notice the mate using an assortment of equipment including downriggers, outrigger, and planer boards to present a variety of lures to the fish. Depending on the time of year, we will rig between 8-14 lines. Watch those fishing rods. Listen for the call of "FISH ON!". Strikes can happen quickly! If the day goes as planned, our cooler will be filling with a variety of tasty salmon and trout, your cooler should be slowly emptying as refreshments are enjoyed. Lots of pictures, memories, and jokes are being generated.

As the trip too quickly ends, your fish will be cleaned and packaged for your trip home. You are, of course welcome to enjoy a fresh dinner prepared with your catch at a local restaurant. Just ask the Captain for suggestions.
